Desert Tech SRS Buttpad Assembly, Gen2. Created from durable black polymers and rubber, this gen2 buttpad assembly is an OEM factory original component from Desert Tech. The recoil pad assembly is designed for both the SRS-A2 & SRS-A2 Covert rifle models from Desert Tech chambered in all available calibers including 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, .260 Rem, & .6.5×47 Lapua. This buttpad assembly is installed on the back of the firearm to provide length of pull and recoil mitigation when fired. The assembly includes a 1-1/4″ buttpad with plate and 2 spacers of 1/2″ each for a total LOP of 2-1/4″. Desert Tech rifles and components are proudly made in the USA.

For the last 12 years the SRS rifles have seen extensive use by military and law enforcement snipers around the world. The SRS has been used in precision rifle competitions and become popular among big game hunters and shooting enthusiasts. Its accuracy, mobility, and multi-caliber capability have put it ahead of its time. The Desert Tech SRS “Stealth Recon Scout” A2 Chassis is new from Desert Tech and available in right hand configurations only. The new A2 chassis system features the same ergonomic bullpup design as the A1 but with features designed to make the SRS A2 chassis system more accurate, lightweight, and reliable. The SRS A2 chassis will be available in the more compact SRS A2 Covert model as well for additional maneuverability and weight reduction. The SRS-A2 is 2.1 lb lighter than the SRSA1 because of its redesigned receiver, barrel and handguard. The SRS A2 Chassis features Desert Tech’s new A2 trigger designed to make the trigger system less complex while providing a trigger pull that has less creep, a shorter reset, and a crisper break. The A2 trigger can be adjusted from 1.5 to 7 lbs. and has a flat contour for improved ergonomics. Desert Tech also upgraded the barrel clamping system in the A2 chassis, the new system reduces stress placed on the barrel when installed. The A2 chassis also features an integral tripod attachment point and a Harris bipod mount for increased stability.
